5 Instagram-able spots in NYC

Since moving to NYC I have been on the look out for the best Instagram spot…I think thats the most millennial thing I’ve ever said! Anyways after doing some research here are the best spots for taking amazing photos that all your friends will be jealous of!

  1. Pietro NoLita

This all pink 1950s style restaurant is the cutest place ever! You can take an assortment of photos their, food, yourself, or the ecelectic culture inside. Located at 174 Elizabeth St. in the middle of Little Italy and Soho!

2. Cha Cha Matcha

I ventured down to their Little Italy location the other day and fell in love! It doesn’t matter where you stand because every inch of this place is picture perfect! I got the Matcha lemonade and I am obsessed! Next time I go back i’m trying the soft served!!

3. SoHo (Greene St. and Prince St.)

This little area of SoHo is lined with stores like Dior, LV, and Alice and Olivia. It isn’t super crowded like Spring St. so for those SoHo styled photos I would make your way down to the cross streets of Greene and Prince!

4. Central Park (Sheeps Meadow)

This area of Central Park is perfect for that picturesque picnic. So many movies have used this as a backdrop such as ‘How to be single, Enchanted, 13 going on 30, etc.’ Grab your girlfriends and a picnic basket and have an instgramable picnic.

5. West Village (Bleecker St. or Perry St.)

West Village would be my dream neighborhood for the city! I looked at an apartment there and the area was a dream except that it was a 5 floor walk up and the apartment was 200 Sq ft. This area has character on every corner. If you are a Sex and The City fan the Perry St. is the way to go since that is where Carries apartment is. Bleecker St. is busy but has tons of brunch places and magnolia bakery. Definitely a must see!

My NYC Spring Uniform

First off I know I know…I have been MIA when it comes to my blog and I want to get it up and going. I have taken all my time and put it into my youtube channel and Instagram. It been a little over two weeks since I have moved into my NYC apartment and I will have an apartment tour up next Sunday. It has been an adjustment and I’ve had moments of thinking this was the best decision and moments of being overwhelmed and homesick. I am finding my groove and excited because I see my family in 3 weeks!!

Maxi skirts and dresses are my summer staple. I love the maxi style because its the most comfortable next to a romper. My shoes are from Lulus and I have fallen more times then I care to admit in them so even though they are cute, they are not so easy to walk in.
