Relieving Stress In The Most Stressful Times

| Top: Wooden Arrow Boutique |

Goodmorning Angels! So before I get into this post we need to take a second a get serious! This past week has been absolutely devastating to everyone involved in Hurricane Harvey, I grew up in Katy which is a sub outside of Houston and so many people have lost their homes and everything they own! Anything helps and when there is devastation we need to put aside our differences and come together! Go here  and please donate! This is the time to go through your closet and give!

Now with everything going on I am sure it is stressful so I am here to give some advice and motivation!

Taking a chill pill- When I mean taking a chill pill I mean crawl in bed and crack open my computer and watch make up videos or read blog posts! This seriously gets my mind off of all stress in my life and helps me to truly calm down! You can try just turning on a movie or picking a show off of Netflix at random and see if you like it tis is great for keepig your mind busy!

Organization is your new bestie- School and even work can be extremely stressful, but to avoid having a panic attack when trying to study or find a pen is to get everything you need before school starts! Don’t wait until it has already started to go to target because odds are everything will be picked over! A good study tip is get colored pens and color coat your notes so that they are more appealing to look at haha!

Reading a magazine is still reading- I love reading books, they will take your mid to a new place and it really helps connect with your creativity! Lately though I have been really into reading mags and not trash mags…I mean Vogue, Harpers, Elle, etc. They have some incredible articles in there not just on fashion but on our world!

Three is company- Having any kind of animal is so amazing! They are innocent and pure creatures that love you unconditionally! These are my sisters dogs, but they have become my babies! Maybe I am having a tough day, I come home and they just show so much love and affection and it can truly turn your day around! If you don’t have any animals, maybe think about adoption(if you can afford and can take on the responsibility) If not then go volunteer at a shelter!

These are all things I live by when it comes to calming down after a long hard day! I hate to admit this, but I am not a “chill” person, I am a perfectionist and I let it get the best of me sometimes! We all take the little things for granted and sometimes just taking a deep breath and calming down can help you see the bigger picture!

This post was sponsored by the amazing and lovely Wooden Arrow Boutique! This boutique is so adorable and has the sweetest people! This top is so comfy and I actually wore it all day running errands and got several people giving me compliments of it! It can be dressed up or down, which is perfect for all my college girls out there! Definitely go check them out!!

Hopefully everyone is safe and feeling all the love that is spreading! Lots of love!!

Let the Shopping Begin…

A New Design (5)

Hello lovlies! What a week it has been, amiright? I am so ready for the weekend so I can relax and not worry about all the stresses in my life! I know a lot of y’all live in Texas and will probably be stuck in the house this weekend! so why not crack open the computer and start ordering your fall uniforms? I know I will! All of these are definite staples for fall! When I was in California I found a hat just like #3 and I love it! Don’t get me wrong I love my suede floppy hats, but this will be so much easier! The 70’s is coming so go ahead and invest in some awesome flares for fall! I haven’t heard much on cheetah, but I am going to try and bring it back…emphasis on the “try” haha! Hopefully y’all found this useful and liked a few of my picks for fall! Have a great weekend ladies! No blog post monday, I won’t be able to shoot this weekend, but I have a super fun post for next wednesday all ready to go! Lots of love!

Perfect Jeans For Fall

| Outfit Details |

| Jeans: Zara | Top: Similar | Shoes: Shoes |

Hello Lovelies! School has started and the fresh start and busy schedules has started! I am trying to get back into the groove of everything after vacation and its so weird because i’m still on California time so my sleep schedule is trying to get back to normal! While in California I found these amazing jeans and they are perfect! They hit at a very flattering length and are perfect for shorter girls, and the wash and rips are very flattering as well!

So a little something y’all don’t know is that 2 days before I left for California I went to a new salon to get my roots touched up and well my hair turned orange…So I am not going to name the salon on my blog, but if you want to know what salon it was so you make sure you don’t go there then just email me and I will tell you in private! I searched all over the internet and Instagram for someone who I felt would know what to do and I found the sweetest girl and she was so awesome! I was texting her in the middle of the night and she was so kind about it and got me in the next day to fix my hair! She made it so much better!

My hair is not 100% because it will take a few tries to get it perfect, but it is so much better and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to fix my hair! Her Instagram is @kyndallborden and if you need your hair done in the DFW area she is amazing and really knows what she’s doing! Thanks so much ladies, lots of love! Have a great Wednesday!

Where to Eat, Sleep, Play in SoCal

|Outfit Details|

| Shorts: Zara | Jacket: My moms from the 90’s, Similar | Purse: Chanel | Shoes: Calvin Klein |

Hello Angels! First, I am sorry for those of you that aren’t on my Instagram because I posted on there that I wouldn’t be posting a blog post while on Vacay! Now I am back and can’t wait to tell y’all about my SoCal trip! I seriously ate, saw, and did so much while being there that the most organized way would be for me to separate this post into 3 separate categories!

So when it comes to traveling I am the one that is constantly creating itineraries based on what everyone wants to do and see! My favorite meal and most important thing to get me going is a big breakfast so I was all over Yelp finding the best brunch!

Another Broken Egg Cafe – We ate here the first day and it was so good! You get a big plate for the cost and the great part is there is one in Dallas so I already know I will be going there very soon!

The Cliff- We stopped here on our second day and this was probably my favorite, Its on well obviously the side of a cliff in Laguna and the brunch was wonderful, the food was just as good as the first place, but the view just stepped everything up!

21 Oceanfront- This place was where we met up with some friends and had a nice dinner! This place is on the pricer side, but everyone was so generous there and the food was good! I never want to have negativity on here, but the food wasn’t amazing, it was good, but the view and service made the restaurant really amazing!

Carrera Cafe- We stopped by here to get some coffee and OMG this is a must if you ever go to LA! They do foam art here and you can personalize it, my sister had them do her dogs and it was amazing! Go check them out because it was really cool!

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach! It was a really good hotel, the staff was awesome and the hotel itself had so much to do and was very safe and clean! We usually always stay in a VRBO, but this time we didn’t and I actually don’t know which I prefer more! I think its all about personal preference on where to stay, but if you haven’t done VRBO yet then try it!

Warner Bros Studio Tour- Okay so let me start by saying if you haven’t done this tour then the next time you are back in California then go do it! This was my favorite part of the whole trip! As you all know I am a die hard Pretty Little Liars fan and I was so happy and it was the coolest thing ever!

1000 Step Beach in Laguna- This beach was so incredible! You literally walk 1000 steps to get down into the beach and its not that hard going down as much as it is going up haha! Its hard to explain this beach so you’ll just have to see in the pictures as to what I mean!

The Grove- I am obviously a fashionholic so it wouldn’t be vacation without going shopping! The grove has EVERYTHING! Zara, DVF, Brandy Melville, etc. If you like to shop till you drop on vacation then stop by there for sure!

Morphe- If you’re a makeup lover like me then make sure you stop by Morphe and pick up some amazing brushes and a beautiful palette!

Hopefully y’all enjoyed this! I have so many fun posts and collabs coming up and I can’t wait for y’all to see what I have been working on! I love you all so so much!! See you Wednesday!

My Everyday Workout Routine

My Pinterest |

Good morning and happy Friday ladies! Time to weekend and by weekend I mean workout haha! I have had a lot of people requesting this post! So i’ll start by going through my week! Before I start I am going to give a disclaimer, I am in no way a fitness guru and I really just do what works best for me! I’m sure I will have people tell me that I do this or that wrong when it comes to the gym, but honestly everyones bodies are different, whether its what you can handle or how you eat! Just remember one size does not fit all and that’s okay!

I go to the gym 7 days a week, unless I have work the next morning then the day before I will do a two a day! I have become very committed to going to the gym every morning, and I slack off and get lazy I push and do much more later in the day at the gym! I start my gym workout with cardio, I am obsessed with the elliptical and I use the one that has an incline and I bring it to its max! I prefer to ride a bike, but not in the gym I rather ride outside on an actual bike! Riding a bike is how I lost 20 lbs in about 4 months!

I do about 20 minutes of cardio sometimes more sometimes less, but I do it every day! I have found a new show called shadow hunters that I am obsessed with, and I set it up on my machine and watch it while I get my cardio done and it honestly makes the time fly! After cardio I move on the my “Pinterest Workouts” as I like to call them! I rarely do all the exercises on there in one day, but I push my body and do as much as I can, I always do the amount of sets and reps it asks for!

After those workouts I will move on to doing arms and abs or leg day! Sometimes I do so much that after just doing my Pinterest workouts I am done for the day! Sometimes though I have it in me and am able to push myself a little harder! Now if you don’t know workouts are 20% and what you eat is 80%! I am an organic freak lol! I prefer Vegan and Organic, some people think its stupid but a lot of things that aren’t organic are full of GMOs and harmful cancer causing chemicals! I am not going to ever tell someone what they eat or how they workout is wrong because trust me I am not perfect, but look into having a healthy food lifestyle over a healthy gym lifestyle, you will see a difference in long term effects!

I am always trying to do better with eating clean and working out, but its okay to have a cookie or ice cream, don’t let yourself over indulge, just have a little less over time! Sorry for the long post and remember if you disagree with what I do then thats okay! Hopefully this helped anyone who is wanting to starting eating healthy, or start working out! Lots of love!

Lazy Day Dress Up

Outfit Details |

|Shoes: Purchased at Forever 21, Similar | Skirt: Cotton On | Cardigan: Similar | |Sunnies: Versace |

Hello everyone! Its crazy to think summer is almost over…i’m excited terrified to start college! I’ll be honest with y’all school has never come easy to me I wasn’t one of those kids that could just study the night before or look over my notes before the test and magically make an A! If I wanted an A I had to study so much and make sure I was paying attention and always writing down little notes! College is going to be so different and much harder *starts to panic* haha! I know everything will be okay and as long as I try hard I will do just fine! I was thinking about doing a school haul on how to study and little tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years!

Now to the outfit, I got this look inspired from Pinterest, and I love the minimalistic look of it! Actually I had a hat planned with this outfit, and totally forgot it and that makes me sad because I feel like hats and scarves just add a little extra to any outfit! This skirt is so comfy and not too short in the back where you feel like you may flash the world haha! I just paired a basic white tee I had in my closet, nothing to flashy! These shoes are so awesome and i’m sad they are out, but the shoes I did tag, I have a friend who has them and she says they are the best!

Thanks so much for taking your time to join me by reading my blog! Lots of love!
